Head to Blue Cactus Press for an afternoon of creative writing at Writing Club for People of Color. Writing Club is the perfect time and place to put your pen to paper and channel whatever rage, sorrow, grief, frustrations, or other emotion you’re feeling into your writing.
- Writing Club is only open to those who identify as People of Color.
- Please note: Writing club is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
- For the first hour of writing club, we’ll write using guided and free writing exercises. Those who wish to stick around for a second hour can engage in peer-to-peer feedback for previously submitted work.
- Participants should sign up using this link.
- Additionally, we ask all participants to RSVP each month at least one week in advance by emailing bluecactuspress@gmail.com.
- This is a free event.
- We meet at Blue Cactus Press at 1901 Jefferson Ave, Office #105.
