Description
If the Storm Clears adopts the wondrous parameters of speculative fiction and poetry to illuminate the sublime, or the grandeur, beauty, and awe-inspiring power of the natural world. Just as the sublime contains us in its infinite, beautiful ecosystems, we each contain an element of the sublime within ourselves. In these wide-ranging works, edited by Katharine Threat, the authors interpret the sublime through supernatural storms, familiar bodies of water, memories, and grief. Our physical, perceived, and internal environments are explored, and the lines between them blurred.
