Join Center for Indigenous Midwifery and Blue Cactus Press for Laying Stories Down: a writing and emotional processing workshop for BIPOC birth workers and birthing folk. Facilitated by Christina Vega, this two-hour workshop will include guided writing prompts, verbal storytelling, and body-based exercises focused on releasing stories, energy, and emotions surrounding birthwork. Participants will also receive a workshop zine with repeatable writing and processing exercises co-written by experienced community leaders within the birthworking community. This workshop is open to BIPOC birth workers and birthing folk. There is no cost to participants.
